Records for the future
The shutter button is a switch for freezing time. Many years later, thawing the frozen time, even the street noise or the breeze comes back in my mind's eye. Featureless scenes would become valuable records.

I believe that Maitani Yoshihisa - the designer of the Olympus OM cameras - said that the ideal camera would work like the mind's eye, and simply preserve memories....

Wow, It's a wonderful words!
I think a camera would become the ideal camera as the owner uses it for a long time.
Olympus OM-1 was one of my yearning camera when I was young.
