The ginkgo tree

This great ginkgo tree always watches me walk with my dog. It must have been watching millions of people for more than 100 years; just watching without saying and doing anything.

Waiting for spring

The bud seemed to be just ready to burst when I found just a week ago.

Today I went to see it, but the swelling of the bud remained the same.

Spring is still far off.
