Cold, rainy night

On rainy nights, there are a lot of eye-catching things along streets. The most fascinating one recently was the scene in front of a cafe. The tables were so brilliant, but people did not seem to notice them, and passed them by. The cold rain made people rush home.

Transfiguration

The weather-beaten wall is transfiguring little by little. It is changing itself as if it has the intention and the energy of life. The wall is not deteriorating but growing.

Shadow pictures in the grove

I passed through a forest of bare trees, and entered a bamboo grove.
It was so lively even in midwinter. Not only the sounds the bamboo leaves played, but the shadow pictures they made amused me.
