Shadows on the hill


Gently-sloping hills make me calm. This hill, which is near my town, always makes me stay there for a long time. Watching the shadows moving with the morning light is my favorite.

    I haven't read Matt's comment but I will in a moment maybe he says the same thing..."my favorite thing to do" sounds better.

  • PS I suppose I feel like I want to know more. I will try to rememer to ask Matt his opinion on this. Personally, I think it would sound better to say "my favorite way to lose myself in thought" or ..." my favorite part of the day" or "my favorite moment each morning."

  • Great, great pictures. I will return for more. I have been to Tochigi many times myself as my wife's family lives there (Nikko and Otawara). It is very nice and peaceful.

  • I like Nikko the best. I have been there many times because my wife has family there. But I also like Otawara because it is not crowded like other parts of Japan.

    I also like the Bell Mall in Utsunomiya.
